So the webcomic list is a site that always you to add your favorite comics to a list and then give you links to the newest pages of those comics when they update. That way you can have all of your comics in one place and know with in a half hour or so if they have updated or not. I personally have a few hundred favorites but I would be fine if you only favorite books don't work here. Each time you use one of their links like this one to come to my page I move up a little in their ranks (which you can see on the left above the comic page but below the ad). The better my rank the more people are likely to discover books don't work here, so if you feel like using TWCL or changing your bookmark I would really appreciate it. Also I don't care what I said I do not have any jimmies.

Does it have a "RSS feed of the comics you favorited" like the comicfury RSS feed thing? Because that's what I use to keep myself updated.

it does indeed. here is a link to the page that talks all about it.

Interesting... Now I'll just have to wait and see if I only see comics in my favourites list, or thunderbird gets bloated by every single update ever done from this point onwards.
*Drowns in every update ever existing, and then some*

there were two different bits of code you could use one i believe gave you every update for every comic on TWCl and the other only those on your favorite list. I recommend making an account and using the last one.

Oh, weird. I'd expect the "Favourites only" RSS list to be with the other RSS thing (the whole list), as they list some javascript thingy that can show only your favourites; but I had to go to the "Share Your Favourites List", where a favourites only RSS update feed is found. Weird, because I'd expect that to be somewhere like "Your Favourites".

can you post a link where you found it eventually in case anyone else wants it?

As I mentioned, I use Firefox's innate groups system to keep track of my webcomics. I have a Notepad that's supposed to be a mirror of that, but it's sorely outdated. (And I haven't even got everything from it in FireFox yet.)

If I do eventually sign up to a webcomic managing site, it'll probably be Top Webcomics. It seems to be the most popular, so I figure that's good, as well as it means I don't have to do the captcha things when voting. Though I am wondering if I should start clicking some of the links to the comics from the incentives...

First let me say that I do not want to force or inconvenience anyone with this request. it is more of a if you have nothing better kind of thing rather then if you have a strong opinion already.

As for the second part I have not been updating the incentives for the top web comics like i want to, but am setting up to be able to have at least 3 new images a week come next month. they will either be sneak peaks at part of the next page or showing some of how the comic is drawn ( the blue sketch for example). I would be more then willing to take feed back if people have a preference on what i use to bribe you all into voting for BDWH.

also i do not use top webcomics to manage my pleasure reading so there might be a setting I am not aware of but it looks like they just have a list of your favorites. TWCL filters that list to show you only the ones that have updated (sorted by day) so you know that each link you click will take you to a comic you have not seen before.

Yeah, I understand. I'm just dropping in my two cents' worth. I could sign up to both, but that's probably overkill. :P

Fair enough. I don't really worry too much about the incentives. It's mainly just someone puts one up, and that sends me to TWC and so I go voting for the rest as well. <_<

The updates thing, I don't know either. Maybe I'll sign up so I can find out for sure. Or maybe I'll just continue being lazy. That's more likely.

I just subscribe to the comics I want to read via their RSS feeds. Any comic that doesn't provide an RSS feed needs to come into this century. Hell, even Bob the Angry Flower has one now.

the host site i use (comic fury) provides an RSS feed, and it can also be gotten from TWCL. is that convenient enough you think or should i add an extra button somewhere on the main page?

I should look into that more later, both for my own comic and my own subscriptions. Right now, all but one of the comics I read are here and I can catch the updates with the built in functionality. The one that isn't here is only updated on the first of the month, so it is easy to remember. ;)
