Happy new year from 2011. If all goes well this page should be posted automatically at the stroke of midnight. Cool huh? So cool that you want to vote now? If so the button is up above the comic. It is blue as says VOTE Topwebcomics on it (as opposed to the blue the web comic button which you can use to favorite us on that site). If you have an account with Topwebcomics then you can avoid an extra click or two verifying that you are not a computer. Even if you do not have an account you can vote once every 24 hours (it resets sometime in the middle of the night). Every vote helps improve my ranking, and the better our ranking the more exposure BDWH gets.

I want to thank everyone who voted and still appreciate anyone willing to keep voting, but the initial burst of voting died down after a few day. between that and the fact that i was just told that I shouldn't draw as much if i want my back pain to come back under control I won't be updating the incentives on a strict schedule (though i will still add new stuff when i can). I will of course keep update the comic back pain or no, but for now though i am going to ice my back and find something else productive to do with my days off.

Happy End of the World Year! ;)

Oh, and I thought I'd start the new year right by voting. :D

Yep, Count me in as well. I thought at first you meant voting here... and then I was smarter.

Since when was Charity running the show? I thought her scheming would only be for their world.

EDIT: Also, when I got there just now, you were ranked 166. Charity's resolution already came true!

The trick is staying there isn't it?

Charity is pure evil and manipulative...I've been saying.

And I haven't disputed it. I'm just surprised at the reach of her schemes.

What?! She's not in control. I mean I might have been hanging out in the break room procrastinating when I should have been working on the Incentives, and it is possible that I did not have an idea what to do for new years, but just because she came to me with an idea for the page that would help the comic get more viewers and her a spot in the lime light does not mean she has any power over me. It was still my decision. If anything choosing to have her do all the work empowers me right?

"In politics, do not believe anything until it has been officially denied."
I forget where I saw that, and where it first came from.
I think it was in a loading screen for E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy... (Which, BTW, is a really fun game. FPS with a very convoluted storyline.)

Either way, I think it's pretty applicable here. :D

I think running the show goes to far. Charity just tries to get a little something from everyone she talks to. sure the director should have known better then to talk to her, but It's not like I'm in the habit of routinely defying the women in my life (it would probably half my life expectancy after all).
