Well this comic was more of a journey to complete then most. A bit of indecision about the plot was compounded by the vast majority of the last few days being taken up by real life stuff ( transitioning to a new job, errands and generally running all across town). The fact that I was so busy during the day meant I didn't have the time to both draw and sleep at night. Somehow I managed to do not enough of both, but now this page is done. Now I'm going to let my brain melt for a few hours and try and get a start on Friday's page. Realistically though there is a good chance that someone will talk sense into me and I won't sit down for the 8 hours it will take until Friday meaning it should be up early Saturday morning.

Oh yes... Very downhill, very quickly...
That said, Charity should have seen it coming from the second panel... Robin did offer to set up a date for her.

More "sometimes god" I see. Highly appropriate right about now.

Also, that effect on the speech bubble. Perfect. :D

Yes, Robin offered - twice, and Charity came second in the eternal day. Consider how massively desirable Sparky is, and how pathetically low Charity's standards were last night, and she appears irrational.
All that aside, I hope they do better than indicators suggest - this meeting had rather a lot of setup.

1 maybe it's because I'm a guy but I don't see how sparky is massively desirable.
2 Charity's standards are as High as she can get at any given moment.
3 I think she's just peeved that Robin gave her the short end of the stick where their deal is concerned.

So if she is acting irrational it is for good reason and besides it would probably feel cheap if everything between sparky and charity went off with out a hitch. If romantic comedies have taught me anything they will have plenty of time to turn hate to love before the climax.

You forgot option 4: She's a woman, of course she's irrational.
