I have been looking forward to making this page since I started this comic, and all in all I think it turned out reasonably. I also got a new font for the text that I am looking forward to feed back on. I played around a bit with the size of the text on this page some to show volume but also to find a nice size for normal dialogue. Let me know if it is too small or I could go even smaller (which could give me more room later for pretty pictures).
as in lion king? It has been forever since i saw the movie (other then a you tube clip of be prepared) so i don't think that was the main influence of the drawing. that being said there is a lot of feline influence in Sparky's design (from the Cheshire Cat to lackadaisy there were a lot of cats).
Artists never seem to bother putting anything more then scribblely lines on the pages of books in comics. in this world the characters actually notice that, and sadly most of life is able to get along just fine thanks to TV, the internet, and audio books. it does seem to have mucked with science though.
