For some reason convincing a crazy person that you aren’t lying to them isn’t always the best way get you want you want, but you know Robin will demand an explanation Tomorrow anyways. Also what do you all think about the 5th panel? Does it work or should I have gone with a smaller horizantal shot?

Comments:

Yeah, maybe a smaller horizontal shot, and then the shot of Robin could also be horizontal, where it focues on her eyes, since she was making a stern demand. And they could have been on top of each other.

I had seen another comic do the overlapping diagonal panels and wanted to give it a try good to know they don't work that well. from what i can tell most comics work in horizontal rows that are all the same height, and whenever i try and have a row different heights in my thumbnails it never looks right. i agree that the content of panel 5 and 6 could be short and wide but i wasn't sure how to fit those two and panel 7 on the page then with out making a 4th row or making rewriting the script. it always seems to be the with of the page that is the limiting factor and never the height. it probably means i need to learn more about paneling.

Maybe panel 5 as an insert in panel 6?

thanks they were one of my favorite things to draw in his concept art. i am thinking of tweaking the color of his brown eye a bit and maybe the shape of them at the bottom to allow them to be more expressive but they do do crazy well. also since you agree with Ahrnold the reply above is to you as well.

it's a 50 50 between the only guy in the room and the third character who hasn't been introduced yet.
