in Damsel and Distress

Speaking of people siting around and doing nothing I have jury duty this week. Monday is a holiday so I will have to wait till Tuesday for my first chance at serving my country. For the mean time enjoy the new page with all the crisp color. I would have had them moving more but well they didn't corporate.

Comments:

The director better figure out how he's going to counter this stall tactic.. we'll see much use of it until he does.
May I inquire into what the speed limit is in your world? Not only is the bus taking an eternity, but that seems to be the slowest car ever in the 3rd and 4th panel. (the red one)

Huzzah! A new commenting fan! Please don't let the rest of ours obvious social defects scare you away, pull up a keyboard and stay awhile. ^^
(Don't worry I'm the prime offender, in fact I'd reckon everyone else will seem normal by comparison)

What he said. feel free to get in on the witty banter. maybe with enough practice i can beat Robin one day.

I see the narrator still thinks he's in control. When will he learn? :P

I think the term 'director' is actually a perfect way to describe the working relationship. He might pay the bills but there is no way the prima donnas are going to work without some placating

It's less that he isn't in control, more like he has less control than he thinks.

Until Charity stages her successful coup!

Hmmm. Narrator creates Robin. Robin upstages Narrator. Robin creates Charity. Charity upstages Robin and Narrator.

Sweet and Innocent indeed.

Innocence doesn't necessarily denote being free of mischief. I point to the legend of Pandora's box as an example.

Yeah, as an actor (or as professionals call it, "professional auditioner"), I never can agree with everything my director says. The trick is finding something we both like before (it's almost always "she") they start cutting lines, scenes and even parts. Directors always have the power to just white out something and replace it with something else. Or nothing.

... Charity's hair looks... off. Isn't there more in the back? I don't know....

11th Oct 2011, 4:46 PM edit delete reply

Whoa.. I didn't catch that. Good eye ther tutter. I went back and looked at Charity's appearances since her debut, and sure enough some hair is lacking today.

I was planing on trying it with out the big black lines this time and then forgot to color it in at all. fixed it now, but thanks for the catch.
